Robert De Niro made headlines over the weekend in a bizarre and vulgar display at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. At the Tony Awards De Niro said “F*** Trump” twice on stage. The audience let its feet for a standing ovation.
De Niro has often been vulgar in his criticisms of President Trump. He’s acted more like a spoiled brat than a serious actor. So it was not out of character for him to be such a disgrace.
And while many were rightly outraged, Fox News host Laura Ingraham had a different point of view. She sees this as an opportunity. Shortly after the outburst Ingraham tweeted this out:

And she’s right. This is another gift to President Trump and Republicans. Outbursts like this don’t curry favor with independents, swing voters, or even a lot of Democrats. It makes the opposition to Trump look weak, petty, and vulgar. And those are three things the left tries to label Trump for. But that goes out the window with this type of behavior on display but nuts like De Niro.
