The Economy Is At A Record High, But Who Americans Give The Credit To Is Dropping Jaws

According to a new survey released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University, 66 percent of voters said they believed the economy is “excellent” or “good,” which is a record high for the poll since it started asking the question in 2001, reports Town Hall.

33 percent did say that they saw the economy as “not so good” or “poor.” When asked who was more responsible for the current economic conditions, almost half of the respondents, 49 percent, said former President Obama, while 40 percent named President Trump.

“‘Trump’s policies are helping the nation’s economy, 37 percent of voters say, as 29 percent say his policies are hurting the economy and 30 percent say these policies are not making much difference,’ said the Quinnipiac survey.”

“President Trump can hang his hat on the economy but must share the hat rack with President Barack Obama, as two-thirds of the country see the economic picture as excellent or good,” Quinnipiac University Poll assistant director Tim Malloy said in a statement.

Seventy-three percent of voters also believed their personal financial situation was “excellent” or “good” and 26 percent said theirs was “not so good” or “poor.”

The survey was conducted January 5-9 among 1,106 voters and has a margin of error of 3.6 percentage points.

President Trump also took note of survey saying, “In new Quinnipiac Poll, 66% of people feel the economy is “Excellent or Good.” That is the highest number ever recorded by this poll,” he wrote on Twitter.

Thanks to the president’s unwavering abilities to continue to help the American people especially when it comes to the economy, especially after all of these good signs like the DOW continuing to increase and the GOP tax reform bill that was just signed into law that will improve the lives of countless Americans.

I agree with you Wayne on the job President Trump is doing but we still need him in the USA so I can not agree with you on sending him to Canada.

What a crock!! Obama had NOTHING to do with this. The market was in decline or downright stagnant under BO. Confidence in America’s business dept. is SOLELY due to Trump being elected.

Sorry , if Obama had not corrected the Cheney Bush disaster our economy would be in the toilet .. The credit belongs to him , but Trump will destroy all gains by falsely elevating the system with giveaway money schemes as an excuse to raid the treasury and social security .. You think I am off base ? Hide and watch .. Senior bribes and bit coin schemes to name two !
