Hillary Clinton: I Lost Because Of White People

Hillary Clinton sat down with CBS Sunday Morning and proceeded to claim that it was “millions of white people” that caused her to lose the 2016 election.  She divulged a number of other things during the interview including how she hadn’t written a concession speech and how she’s coping after the lose.

The interview was to talk about Hillary’s new book coming out titled What Happened in which she speaks on what happened before, during, and after the election and how she feels about the results currently.

“I had not drafted a concession speech. I’d been working on a victory speech,” she told Jane Pauley in the interview that aired Sunday.

She goes on to explain what she has been doing since the election and how she copes with the fact that she feels “like [she] had let everybody down.”

But she is doing “good” she says, as she does some yoga, drinks some Chardonnay and goes for walks in the woods.

Clinton goes on to explain why she thinks Trump became so popular and why he eventually won.

“[Trump] was quite successful in referencing a nostalgia that would give hope, comfort, settle grievances, for millions of people who were upset about gains that were made by others because—”

“What you’re saying is millions of white people,” Pauley interrupted.

“Millions of white people, yeah,” Clinton replied. “Millions of white people.”

Another scapegoat that Clinton mentions for her failure during the election was her private email server, which she repeats that was “presented in such a negative way that I couldn’t get out from under and couldn’t stop.”

She goes on to complain about Comey’s reopening of Clinton’s private emails, while also mentioning of possible collusion between Russia and Trump during his campaign, but yet, according to Clinton “you never hear a word about that.”

The interview also speaks about Bernie Sanders and how his party set back her’s considerably. In her book Clinton says, “his [Sanders] attacks caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ campaign.”

Seems that Hillary is still bound to accuse others for her failure in November and it doesn’t look like her blaming tirade is going to stop any time soon.
