Melania Trump Left The Room Speechless After What She Said To This Sick Child

First Lady Melania Trump was doing some public outreach to a children’s hospital where she revealed to one patient there what her favorite role of the first lady was, and it will melt your heart, reports The Washington Examiner.

The first lady was visiting the children at the National Institutes of Health’s Children’s Inn in Bethesda, Maryland when she met Amber Negrete. Negrete is an eight-year-old who is suffering from a giant axonal neuropathy, a neurodegenerative disorder that affects the peripheral and central nervous systems.

When the eight-year-old asks Melania what her favorite part was about being the first lady of the United States, Melania said it was that she got to connect with young people like herself was the most rewarding part of her job.

As a First Lady, you are essentially the role model for the country, acting as an ambassador for the president in certain situations and take up special projects during their time in the white house that will improve the countries moral and overall well-being.

Melania has gone on many trips to children’s hospital since coming to the White House and the children she sees really have enjoyed getting to meet the first lady.

Mrs. Trump spent the afternoon decorating holiday-themed cookies, as well as making and exchanging Valentine’s cards and gifts with patients between the ages of 4 and 25, who are staying at the nonprofit residence as they take part in clinical trials.

A young boy even gave Melania Valentine’s day bag.

Earlier, Trump sent a tweet saying she was looking forward to a “very sweet afternoon” celebrating the holiday with the children. The Trumps celebrated this Valentine’s as they did with their anniversary, privately and with no big fanfare. Nothing like the Obama’s would do by posting photos of themselves and playlists on Spotify.

Instead, Melania decided to take this holiday as a chance to give back to children who really need that kind of encouragement at this point in their lives, and its very sweet that she was able to provide that for them.
