Nancy Pelosi certainly was embarrassed when she suffered from brain freeze while questioning President Donald Trump’s “fitness” to serve as president.
While criticizing the Republican tax plan in a press conference, the House Minority Leader stumbled over her words and suffered from brain freeze when asked the topic was changed to articles of impeachment which were filed by several House Democrats this week:
“Seeking to distance herself from the impeachment push, Pelosi said, ‘People want to go do some other things, that’s up to them, but that’s not what our focus is.
‘Our focus is on (the tax fight). The, uh—’ she said before trailing off and staring at reporters. ‘Public— has questions about the fitness of this president to be president,’ she insisted, recovering from her apparent brain freeze, ‘and that’s a, a legitimate discussion.
Pelosi painfully continues her sporadic train of thought:
‘But our focus, our energy, our, uh— purpose is to get a better deal for the America’s working— America’s working families,’ she repeated.”
Maybe Pelosi should consider her own “fitness” to speak and follow a cohesive train of thought before she questions the “fitness” of the President of the United States.
We’re not even really sure of what Pelosi was trying to convey in this fragmented statement. Maybe the Democrats should focus on getting a representative that can actually put together a thought before they open their mouth. Instead, the Democrats are focusing on criticizing the Republican’s tax plan and trying to come up with reasons to impeach the President.
