President Trump took down lying Democrats on Tuesday for mistakenly posting a series of photos online that were reportedly showing undocumented immigrant children being held in cages accusing the Trump administration of doing such actions, reports The Hill.
Photos began surfacing on Twitter this week of what look to be children sleeping on mats on the floor in cages. Liberals on Twitter claimed that the pictures were taken at ICE containment centers and were pictures of children who had been split apart from their families.
In fact, the photos were originally published in 2014 by the Arizona Republic, meaning that the children had been held by the Obama administration, rather than the Trump administration.
I saw this photo floating around and didn’t know if it was real.
Children of immigrants are being held in cages, like dogs, at ICE detention centers, sleeping on the floor. It’s an abomination.

This is how America houses the undocumented children stolen from their parents.

Trump accused Democrats over the weekend of refusing to repeal a law separating immigrant families at the border. The tweet came after Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced earlier this month that the Trump administration would crack down on immigrant families entering the U.S.
“If you cross the border unlawfully, then we will prosecute you. It’s that simple,” Sessions said. “If you are smuggling a child, then we will prosecute you. And that child may be separated from you, as required by law.”
Trump made sure to set the record straight on Twitter on Tuesday declaring that all of the photos were lies about current ICE practices.
Democrats mistakenly tweet 2014 pictures from Obama’s term showing children from the Border in steel cages. They thought it was recent pictures in order to make us look bad, but backfires. Dems must agree to Wall and new Border Protection for good of country…Bipartisan Bill!
